ABOUT

Hi. I build diagnostics software — the kind that takes sequencing output and turns it into something a person can act on. Before that I built a lot of websites nobody asked for, and I still do that on weekends.

I started in 2002 on a flight simulation fan site, which explains the look of this one. Fighter jet cockpit displays have been an interest ever since, and it turns out a green-on-black instrument panel is a perfectly reasonable way to list blog posts.

This site is where I keep notes so I stop losing them. If something here is useful to you, that is a happy accident.
